Just for fun, here’s a place to suggest all your favorite dancing songs.  New is nice, but old works just as well.  If you want to suggest something useful, name your favorite local DJ.  Not a radio DJ, but someone who could possibly be the DJ at the BMS dance.

    I would suggest posting inquiries on facebook for dj’s that does church, political, or family events to get someone with a vast array of clean contemporary music. Normally I would suggest the dj’s for the skating rinks but unfortunately I have been disappointed lately with the vulgar/inappropriate music played.

    I have a friend who does DJ/karaoke. I think it’s, “Party with Marty”. She is a 45 year old female, so no vulgar stuff. I am also friends with the warehouse mgr. of “All occasion party rentals”. Maybe, I can get some friendly discounts.

    The guys who DJ’d BMS’s 6th grade dance (Fall, 2009) were great, and under-bid the other guys, too. These DJ’s really knew how to get the kids involved — EVERYONE was dancing! They had one guy spinning tunes while the other knew enough dance moves himself that he could lead everyone. Even the teacher chaperones and 7th & 8th grade Student Council members who were assisting at the dance were boppin’.
